A Greek festival!

Tonight some of my family and friends went to a greek festival! It was fun! A little cheesy, but they all are you just kind of have to go along with it! I manage to get a picture with the cutest bald guy ever! Ok maybe not cute but more sumo chinese wrestler with out the weight! He was so cool! I will post pictures later! I also managed to get yelled at for taking pictures of a miller light sign. Not sure why, but I guess someone didn't like the fact that I looked cool with the child hanging around my neck! I had a bowl of, I want to say it but I am afraid that if I dont get it right then I will be made fun of, but it was someone kind of greek thing with icecream over it! It was great. Over all it was fun, and I got an awesome picture of Laura's butt! Just kidding that wasn't the best one!

When you start contemplating things seriously, when you actually don't joke about it, and you realize it needs to be looked at in a certain way, and you finally see that way. You almost get scared. I mean not scared that you found out what you were trying to see, but scared that you have to look at it that way from now on, scared that you no longer can look at it like a child, scared that you have to grow up and face reality! So much lately I have had to do that! I want life to be so perfect, but its not, and when you look at the things that you "imagine" as perfect and there really not. You see a whole new way of thinking, and I don't want to face it sometimes. My head is a whirlpool of thoughts. Thoughts that no matter how much I try I cannot get rid of. Joe talked about people matureing since they came into the youth group, but sometimes all I feel like is I have discovered new things and have gone the opposite direction!

This post is dedicated to the person who I don't know but is not my best friend! Let me answer one of your remarks. If you didn't know this already then I will explain. When you get a job, you cannot just take off days. Part of that job is working. Yeah I know something new in life. I mean gosh what is the world coming to. People now actually have to work at there jobs. So to whoever you are. That is why I "freakin" work so much. I also work so much because it takes my mind of off stuff. What did I do to deserve this? Today I was at work and I was standing there and I felt this stabbing pain in my head shooting through my eyes. Everything went black for a few seconds, and when it finnally cleared I was hott and I was having trouble staying upright! I sat down and put my head between my knees. I sat there for a momtent or two, and when I could finnaly look around with out feeling like a I had to puke I started working again. I honestly have no clue what happened, but I still have a really bad headache, and I feel like I am getting sick. Some one pray for me really hard becuase I have to do a ton of stuff still, and I can barely function at the moment, but I wont be sleeping anytime soon. So like I said pray really hard.

OK so at I think it was the beginning of the week(Sunday) our family decided to come home rent a movie, make cookies the whole shabang. It was so prefect until I found out what movie we were watching! I am forever going to have these scary mental images in my head. I am forever scarred. Help me I am dying.(ok getting a tiny bit carried away) It was King Kong, and I will admit that the graphics were good. A little too good, and that it was a good story line but dude I hate freakin bugs and all that stuff, and that movie had a tiny bit to much graphic detail when it came to the worms eating people. UGGGHHHHH That is not fair why do people have to make movies that have like scaryu stuff in it like people getting eaten by giant earth worms and huge spiders. hey people,

I know long time no write, but it hasn't been entirely all my fault. Our net has been down going on like 3 weeks now and the only thing I can do is check my mail. If you want to talk to me then e-mail me and if you don't know my address then ask.

So anyhow, I am trying to think of some way to describe the last couple of weeks. Its not any easy thing to explain your mother dying and then a week later going on a runaway vacation, and then try to explain all the emotional feelings you feel. You honestly cannot describe it. For all you who I don't talk to except for on aim or what not. Then this should give you a tiny clue of what has been going on. For all you who no about mom then I don't have to explain anything.

Vacation: This is seriously a non normal word in the Dye dictionary. This word means doing exactly what "parents" want you to do the whole vacation with out having any say in the matter. Good points: I got a tan. I had fresh fruit the whole entire week, and for all you who don't like it then I feel bad for you. I tried loosing weight but I think I am still the same. So it wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be. Another good point I still have lots of gum left.

Bad points about coming back from Flo. You get back and it is seriously so wicked cold. Last night I wrapped up in a blanket and slept for a long time.

So yesterday my daddy told us that he was going to go "look" at a puppy for the younger siblings. Which in Daddy's language means he is going to go "get" a dog for the kids. Because everyone knows that when you look into the most adorable pair of brown eyes and try to say "I am just looking at the dog, but not getting it". I mean that is impossible. Especially for daddy. So My brothers and I were sitting upstairs making bets on whole was going to walk in with a dog. 5 minutes later Leah comes running upstairs holding the most adorable chocolate Lab I have ever seen. Now we are arguing over what name to give her. 4 of us want decaf, and the other 2 want cocoa. Under no circumstances are we naming a dog cocoa. So anyhow that is our dog story that I am sure no one cares about but hey I thought I would tell anyhow.

Tonight unfortunately I have to sing along with like 20 other people. And I'm not nervous but I don't want to sing. Thankfully I didn't get the chance to invite anyone. So therefore I will not be embarrassed infront of any close relatives, bonus for me.

Having one of those very amusing days that nobody but myself knows about! Like I put on a pair of skates and was walking around the house only as I went into this one room I fell over. I usually would never do this but I am going to anyhow. I am going to sound like a dork and tell you about this book I was reading. You know how every girl wants at least once in there life to feel extremely cared for by one man, and its a security that makes them feel so special. Well I was reading this book, and I know that all books (with the exception of some) end up with a fairy tall ending, but this book was so awesome. I mean I was sitting there reading it, and smiling. This girl in it was a poor serf, and she was taken to a castle to work for the Laird of the castle. Only she had this pre-conceived idea that the Laird would be horrid, but as the story went on to her amazement this guy treated her "even though she was only a servant" like a queen. I know this really sappy, but It was so cool the way he treated her. Of course I got all like "I wish all guys were like that". I mean its pretty sad when out of half the population you can only find a few guys who are like that. Oh that and books. I mean isn't funny how the greatest guys don't exist, there in books. Maybe I just have my nose in a book too much but. I guess I am just a teenager who wants a prince charming, and when you read novellas it makes you want him even more.

I can't believe I am doing this. It’s exactly 9:14 in the morning and after staying up till 1, I don't have enough sense to go back to bed. Instead I am sitting here writing a post. I honestly think the four cups of Mt Dew has affected my already horribly messed up brain. I'm not complaining though. Mt Dew has a certain affect that I like, and last night I was really feeling it. Does it come with side affects like the really bad headache I am suffering from right now? Midol could always come in handy. This is pathetic I am saying absolutely nothing, I think it could be the fact that I am only like half awake at the second. OK I'll write later about yesterday when ever I actually wake up. "I have awakened". Lol line off of Mulan.

This morning I got a call from Darlene. She wanted to know if I was going to be home
today so she could drop something off. When she came, her daughters handed me a Caramel Latte, a small buquae of flowers, and two Midol pills. Thank you so much Darlene. I loved the flowers they were beautiful, and the Latte was awesome. Thank you for thinking of me while I wasn't feeling good. It means so much to me. It also made my day. You wouldn't believe how much coffee can change your outlook on the day. lol

I woke up this morning and about died.

I am finding out that when you are sick. It is impossible to look halfway decent without resorting to drastic measures. Today I did an abominable thing. I put on some make-up, which I was proud of myself because it�s been awhile since I last did! I looked at my hair and wanted to scream. How was I supposed to get the nasty mess of brown into something cute or anything that even describes normal. So today ladies and gentlemen I resorted to a teen-age preppy ponytail. I had to go all the way so I also put on a pair of long beaded earrings. Then proceeded to apply gloss, and all the girlie things. Today I look like a full fledge Prep. That is such a scary thing. Little children my I remind you though that I am not proud at all of looking like a prep, but since I have been sick and that is all I could do. It�s the only thing that looked good, but I am sure if you are a resourceful child that you could find something more amazing to look like, and not a prep!

I'm finding out some really cool and good points about being sick (This is what comes from being to bored)

You get to sleep in as late as you want!
You get to take school off! (that was one of my personal favorites)
You can sit in you room all day listening to awesome music!
You loose weight!
People wait on you hand and foot!
You get to catch up on everything you haven't done on the net in like a week!
Its the only time then when you drink herbal tea feels wonderful one your throat!

There people is what is wonderful about being sick. I am not going to tell you whats not wonderful about it, because we are supossed to think positive. lol

Its so weird. Just when things seem to be reveiling themselves for what I was intended to learn from it, I am thrown something else to test whether or not my faith, my love, and conviction is true. I am writing this with a heart that is brusting from sorrow. Sometimes I don't know what my maker is thinking when he keeps giving me these test, but I am trying my best to go through them with out letting him down and with out failling. I don't know if I will succeed but I am trying. I was going to write something comical on this, but it'll have to wait.

I'm going to ask a question! Why do people feel it there job to always make people's lives worse instead of realizing that those people who they are condemning are the ones who need loved and helped and prayed for the most? Maybe I am talking about myself maybe I am talking about someone else! You wont know, but next time you do condemn think about it. Think about how it may effect that other person. I wont be writing for a little while. I have so much stuff in my life that I have to deal with and I can't put it on blog because certain people might get offended. So I am going to deal with it on my own with help of people who care! I love you all honestly I couldn't make it with out you. I will keep checking to see if I get comments so feel free. Hey everybody!

I haven't written anything in forever. I have just been busy, but I just want to tell you all that I love you so much and you (as in my friends and mentors) have made a huge difference in my life. Lately I have just been going through allot and realizing some stuff in my life that I need to change, and its so hard but I know that it will do me good if I change them. I have also been realizing that friends in life are the most wonderful things to have, because without them you couldn't keep going. So I just wanted to tell you all that I do love you and thank you so much for putting up with me when I am not the greatest person ever to be with.
